We are excited to share that ERGAF-AFRICA has taken a giant leap in strengthening governance and democracy in Africa by presenting the Legislative Barometer Innovation Report to the African Center for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD).
This momentous strategic engagement marks an important step towards the official unveiling of the National Assembly Deliberative Barometer – the first of its kind in Africa!
The innovative interactive, data-driven dashboard tracks, reports, and showcases the productivity index of the 469 National Assembly Members, using all procedural and substantive issues within the plenary and ensuring transparency and fostering accountability within the legislative process for enhanced representativeness and better inclusive democratic experience in Nigeria

This strategic engagement was part of ERGAF-AFRICA’s objective to collaborate with critical stakeholders ahead of the official unveiling under the Legislative Governance Effectiveness and Accountability Project (LEAP).
We were honored to present our findings to the Founding Executive Director, Dr. Ovtivie Ibuzo, and the Senior Management of Centre LSD, including Dr. Monday Ossassah, Executive Director, Dr. Chris, Director of Strategy, Mrs. Victoria, Director of M&E and Programmes, and other important members of their team.
Representing ERGAF-AFRICA, the delegation was led by Amb. Chibuzo Okereke, President, alongside key members of the team: Mr. Raphael Tarbo, Data Analyst, Ms. Precious Chidokwe, Programme Assistant, Ms. Joy Atara, Corporate/Partnership Lead, and Jennifer, Admin Officer.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards ensuring greater accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in Nigeria’s legislature and democracy.
We are deeply grateful to Centre LSD for their unwavering support and commitment to this groundbreaking initiative. Together, we are paving the way for a more accountable and effective democratic process in Nigeria.
